【摘要】目的探讨机动车外后视镜对人体损伤的特点。方法对10例于1990—2005年间在华西医科大学法
医学院鉴定的案例进行回顾性的调查， 所有研究对象均为机动车外后视镜损伤患者。 结果在车内驾驶员为左眼
损伤，前排乘客为右眼损伤，均被同则外后视镜碎片所致，而在车外分为两类，一类为骑自行车的中学生，被外后视
镜撞伤，以颅脑损伤居多，另一类为行走老年人，被后视镜撞伤，表现为四肢骨折。 结论根据其受伤特征， 提出相
应的预防措施。

essary to take some preventive measures to minimize injuries from rearview mirrors of motor vehicle．

早在1941年，haven等[t1就观察机动车内外突
出的坚硬的支撑物和金属锐角在车祸中构成人体损
伤，甚至死亡的根源，由此他提出象这样的结构应尽
量取消，不能的则被柔软、可屈曲的替代物取代。自
1968年以来，机动车内外突出物一直是美国联邦政
府研究及制定改进的项目之一，121在随后十多年来，
不必要的机动车突出物或被取消，或挫钝使之变圆
滑，或置以衬垫物覆盖，或变为在发生相撞时可以屈
曲的折叠，经过十多年的追踪观察发现突出物对人
